Questions people ask about the Android app
Is there an APK download?
No. Stash for Android is distributed through Google Play only. APK files offered on other sites are not built or signed by us — a proxy app with a tampered build has access to all of your traffic, so install from Google Play.
What does early access mean here?
The app is usable but incomplete, and features present on macOS and iOS may be missing or behave differently. It changes frequently. If you need a finished product today, use the macOS or iOS app.
Does it run on Android TV?
No. The current build targets phones and tablets and is not built for Android TV's interface.
Does my macOS or iOS license cover Android?
No. The Android app is billed through Google Play, separately from the macOS license and the iOS App Store purchase.
Which Android versions are supported?
Android 7.0 and later.
